Cincy here we come!
The Performing Artists Injury Treatment Center of NewPath Wellness is on the road! We are hosting a pop-up in Cincinnati and taking appointments for injury treatment and assessments April 11 -16.
We will create an individualized treatment for you using your intake and history, postural and orthopedic assessment, specific bodywork to balance the muscle and connective tissue, and self-care recommendations.
You will work with neuromuscular therapists from our Los Angeles team and local NMTs we've vetted and trained in Performing Arts Medicine.

Founder, Kate Fox, had a successful trip to Cincy in January 2024 to work with members of the orchestra and conservatory of music. She was greeted with open arms, and so it spurned planning for another trip in April This time, with a team!
Clients who have been in a course of treatment with Kate via zoom since February were given priority to her appointment book, so they could continue their care. Those appointment time slots filled up fast! A contact list was signed up for and those people got the next priority of booking availability. Now the link is live on social media and free to be sent to friends and colleagues. Each case will be discussed and the best therapist match will be assigned to each case.

The PAITC operates with supervisors (SNMTs) and resident neuromuscular therapists (RNMTs) working as a team to treat artist injuries. We use a blend of intake, postural measurements and physical assessment, bodywork and corrective exercise. Kate and Morgan will conduct the Symmetry for Health sessions. We are also able to refer in house for soft tissue modalities with Amber (cupping and dry needling) and Feldenkrais Functional Integration hands on sessions with Cody if recommended / requested during the pop-up.
Kate will advise on the treatment plan for ALL bookings. A Supervisor, either herself or Amber Trevino, ATc, Phd, will be in a portion of every session. Amber is also a neuromuscular therapist, Phd candidate in Athletic Training, and performs the soft tissue modalities. She co-treated, trained, and taught at NewPAth Wellness 2019 - 2023, until her relocation to St Louis. The RNMTS, Morgan and Kat, are both at the top of their fields in neuromuscular therapy and corrective exercise, and are taking on the Performing Arts Medicine speciality to serve this demographic. Morgan is from the Los Angeles office, and Kat has a practice called THRIVE in Cincinnati, and will be the local referral to co-treat artists in consultation with NewPath while we are away!
We are also welcoming Cincinnati-based coach and The Functional Musician founder, Austin Pancner to observe and meet artists during the pop-up. Last but not least, mid–west based master percussionist, teacher, and Feldenkrais practitioner Cody Remaklus, will also be observing and offering one-on-one sessions as well as a masterclass on Sunday April 13 for all levels.
